The platform doesn’t do well at all with matching people based on their interests or compatible traits, and because of that I’ve realized many users have taken to using blocks as a sort of filter. I liked that feature at first, but have come to realize that it has a dark side. I think the tipping point was reached with the “who viewed you” feature. I’ve used Grindr as a paying customer for many years and it seems like over time the user experience has grown exponentially worse.
